I even finished five ... yes, five books!! That's one of the best readathons I've had ever!! Here's the list of books I was able to complete . . .
- Ms. Marvel #3: Crushed by G. Willow Wilson
- Ms. Marvel #4: Last Days by G. Willow Wilson
- Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
- Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling
- Paper Girls #1 by Brian K. Vaughan
In other news, I returned to work today. I write this little update exhausted, but it's a good kind of exhausted. It's good to be back to a routine. It's good to see the kids again. And, I hope it means that it will get me back on a good sleeping schedule again as well as a consistent writing schedule. I've got hope, and now I'm gonna head to bed!
How was your week of reading? Any back to school thoughts from your neck of the woods?
Great numbers!
ReplyDeleteJenny ... Thank you!
DeleteI am not ready for school to start in the morning but at least I just have to drop Z off! It's been hard to transition mentally to him being in 8th grade (he's at a school where it's a combined junior/senior high campus so he's there with seniors! yikes!) but after meeting teachers today, I think he'll have a fun year. I'm going to have to remember what I do with those hours to myself. Oh, who am I kidding? I'll read. ;)
ReplyDeleteKristen M. ... Oh yes, I can relate ... sort of! My boy started middle school this year, and it's a whole new ball game. I think I've been more nervous than he has, but hopefully, I'm not showing it too much!! Have fun with your reading! I plan on doing a lot of that this weekend to make up for this LONG CRAZY week!!
