#TBRTakedown 4.0 Wrap-Up & Reading Update

Last week, I was convinced to jump in on the #TBRTakedown 4.0 readathon.  The week was a bit crazier even than I expected, so I did not get as much accomplished as I had hoped.  I did finish one book, Bite Somebody by Sara Dobie Bauer.  (Shameless plug -- Did you see the interview with Sara last week?!?  The review is also on its way!)  But, that was it.  Here are the approximate numbers for the week . . .

Pages Read:  about 200 pages
Minutes Listened:  about 180 minutes

Thank goodness I am done with training and I'm hitting the books again this week!

I have decided that this is the slowest reading year that I have had in a long time.  My Goodreads Challenge currently tells me that I am 11 books behind my goal for the year.  It also tells me that I am in the middle of six (6!) books.  What?!?  Guess what I will be working on this week . . . catching up on my reading goal and getting rid of some of these books I'm currently reading.  It is no big deal to be reading three books at a time, but six is a bit much for me!!  I will also be working on some amazing audiobooks as I work on my household renovations.  I'm hoping to finish a room that has been in progress for months in the next week.  Then, off to the next room and one more room closer to getting to my library!!

What are you currently reading?  How does your reading look for the year so far?  Are you on track, or do you even keep track?

  2. Summers get crazy and my reading always slows down too. Good luck renovating. I have so many projects I've done and still want to do but I think I've had my fill.
