Monday Maunder: November 25, 2013 (On Tuesday ... AGAIN!)

I am late in posting again this week!  Yesterday was filled with lots of tasks and by the time I realized that I had forgotten to post, I had already turned off my computer.  No worries though!  I'm here today . . .

ON READING

Reading has officially picked up for me this week!  Here's the list of books that I have read . . .

Tell the Wolves I'm Home by Carol Rifka Brunt
Fables:  Werewolves of the Heartland by Bill Willingham
Jack of Fables #4:  Americana by Bill Willingham
Jack of Fables #5:  Turning Pages by Bill Willingham
Jack of Fables #6:  The Big Book of War by Bill Willingham
Jack of Fables #7:  The New Adventures of Jack and Jack by Bill Willingham

I am picking up Cinderella #1:  From Fabletown With Love by Chris Roberson tonight and I am still in the middle of The Eyes of the Dragon by Stephen King (audio) and The Lemonade Wars by Jacqueline Davies (with my kids).

I expect to get in some wonderful reading again this week as well!  I will be participating in the Thankfully Reading Weekend, or at least a portion of it.  I will post more information on this later this week because I am still trying to decide which books will be on my list this weekend!

How is your reading?  Do you expect a good reading week with the Thanksgiving holiday approaching?

ON BLOGGING

The only blog news this week is the winner of the GoneReading giveaway.  Congratulations to Mari of Mari Reads!!

What's on your blogging radar?

ON WRITING

Writing was minimal again this week, but I did get a bit in.  I currently stand at 1465 words.  Still not a lot, but I am getting there.  I have come to realize that there is no way that I will meet the NaNo goals, but I am looking at the positive.  I am writing.  I am caught up in my characters, though there is still a lot of development that needs to take place.  I anticipate there to be more to come in the weeks and months ahead.  I am excited to see where it will go!

How is your writing these days?

ON LIFE

Life was sickness this week.  I came down with a horrible cold, lost my voice, and ended up sleeping a LOT!  I am almost back to 100%, just in time for a busy holiday weekend, and some goodness coming in the week ahead.  I cannot wait to share this goodness with you finally next week!!  In the meantime, I hope you all have a wonderful holiday weekend (if you live in the States and celebrate) and a great week in general (for all those who don't)!

What are your (holiday) plans for the week?
