This young adult full-color storybook is based on the well-known song by Peter Yarrow and Leonard Lipton. I actually just recently read this book to my son while he was sick in bed and he really enjoyed it. It does have cute artwork from the special that aired on TV (a while ago!) and does incorporate the actual song into the story. In fact, additional songs with their accompanying music can also be found at the back of the book. Overall -- cute story from a classic song and can be an empowering story for little ones. Definitely more for the younger crowd -- read to pre-readers up thru chapter readers and young adults.
