PBS Parent Resources

I just had to share one of my favorite sites . . . http://www.pbs.org/. It has such great games that are developmentally appropriate for a wide range of kids as well as some great parenting resources. I discovered one great resource this morning to help find great books for your child. Check it out!

  • Go to http://www.pbs.org/parents/readinglanguage/.
  • At the bottom of the page is a box titled "Book Finder."
  • Enter the following information . . . age range of your child, topic of interest, and read aloud/read to self books.
  • Hit enter and you have a great library of books to choose from!

I checked out a few lists and absolutely love the ideas! In fact, I'm going to keep a running list of those that we can check out next time we are at the library!
