Thankfully Reading Weekend

I am diving into another readathon, the Thankfully Reading Weekend hosted by the fabulous Jenn's Bookshelves.  I am looking forward to this long weekend, expected to be filled with snow storms, family, and lots of good food.

Thursday will actually be the first Thanksgiving that we have celebrated with family (other than the usual four of us), so I am not expecting a lot of reading to take place the first couple of days.  That is, unless the storms keep the family away.  However, I am reserving the whole weekend for reading (and of course, some writing for NaNoWriMo).  I am definitely in need of this time with stories!

So, what is on my reading list?  I am planning on finishing up Revive Me by Stephen King and maybe get in a bit of audiobook listening (my current audio is I Hunt Killers by Barry Lyga).  After that, here are my possibilities . . .

A couple of these books are selections for upcoming book club reads or readalongs.  The rest are just for fun.  Maybe I will get lucky enough and get a number of them done!

Are you participating in the Thankfully Reading Weekend?  What is on your book stack for the weekend?

  1. Yay! I hope you do get some reading time in. I'm trying to finish my current read tonight so that I can get started on Little Women tomorrow.

  2. My weekend is starting early since I have today (Wednesday) off too. I have a huge pile of books, mostly from the library, as I mentioned on Instagram, but I'm not sure where I'm going to start. I think for now I'm just starting by reading blog posts from others who are participating. We have snow expected here today so the planning couldn't be better.

  3. Ah, I pretty much never do challenges and having a rough enough time keeping up with the Harry Potter ReReadathon over at Book Journey lol

Not thrilled about the weather interfering with Thanksgiving plans, though *sigh* Everyone stay safe and have a Happy! :D

  4. I will probably informally read all weekend. We have no plans other than heading to my parents' house for tomorrow. The rest of the weekend schedule is clear and predicted to be cold. That means lots of reading, hopefully! Good luck!

  5. This read-along sounds wonderful but I was such a slug over Thanksgiving in the reading dept, I would have failed miserably. I still have a headache!! I think I am going to have to cut out my one cup of coffee a day.
