reading today a hilarious story of a British girl in France: L'Amour Actually. And listening to The World's Strongest Librarian
ReplyDeletewordsandpeace.com ... I've heard good things about The World's Strongest Librarian. I haven't heard of that other title.
DeleteHa! Ha! How true! Every day is a day to celebrate books. :)
ReplyDeleteLike I mentioned before, I'm back to reading-reading, not just listening to audio books. So reading wise, I'm seriously into "A World I Never Made" by James LePore and "Insatiable" by Rita Herron. My audio books are "Twice Bitten" (Chicagoland Vampires/Book 3) by Chloe Neill, "Shadowfever" (Fever/Book 5) by Karen Marie Moning, and "Follow Your Heart: Finding Purpose in Your Life and Work" by Andrew Matthews.
As you can see, I still listen/read more than one at a time. The difference now is that I'll be on these for a long time. I don't read quickly like I once did. Too many other things going on right now.
J. Kaye Oldner ... Yeah!!! I've really been eyeing those Karen Marie Moning books!! My reading changes over time too. I just came from slow reading after working so much. I'm hoping to see it pick up now that I have more time on my hands (especially when the kids start school)!! We learn to just take it in stride!!
DeleteThis is an amazing holiday-why was I not informed of this sooner?
ReplyDeleteI'm currently reading The Bell by Iris Murdoch. I don't have a favorite book, and I don't like to try and choose. It just feels wrong.
thelumosrose ... Mark your calendar for next year!!! And, you are right ... trying to choose one favorite book is wrong!! I should have rephrased the question to "What are some of your favorite books?"!! :)
