How is your reading this week, whether you are participating in the read-a-thon or not?!?
You're making good progress. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteMoniqueReads ... Thank you so much!!
DeleteAwesome - keep up the good work! I finally finished a long book that was left over from a read-a-thon I participated in last week and was able to start a new book. Very refreshing lol!
ReplyDeleteAmber at The Musings of ALMYBNENR ... Thanks for the encouragement! What a refreshing feeling after finishing a LONG one!! Happy reading on your new adventure!!
DeleteHi I’m Heather! Please email me when you get a chance! I have a question about your blog. HeatherVonsj(at)gmail(dot)com

DeleteGreat job! As I see it, any progress is great progress. Before getting off track of my reading list, I finished writing two reviews and read one book. It was a short one, but hey, it's a book. I intended to finish reading one of the two others I had on the list and then the Amazon Vine Newsletter came in. There was a book that caught my eye: "Chilled" by Kendra Elliot. It's book two in a series, so I went looking for book one. I found that I can borrow book one (Hidden) as part of the Prime program. So I've ditched my other two books and started reading this one...lol. I'm excited. This is a new to me author! :)
ReplyDelete365andMe ... I actually spent a good deal of time writing last night to work on getting caught up. Now, I'm back to reading for at least a bit. I do need to spend some time this weekend getting more reviews written though.
DeleteI can't wait to hear what you think about the Elliot book. I have not heard of her and I always love discovering new authors!!
If I could write reviews quickly, I'd have more done. Do you know it took me three hours the other day to write one!?! I think too much when I'm putting a review together. And then there are the interruptions. :(
Delete365andMe ... I completely understand! I tend to be a perfectionist, so I am always taking forever to write my reviews. And, I usually have plenty of interruptions as well! The other problem is that the majority of my reviews I write long-hand, then type and edit! It's a very long process, but it is what I find that works the best for me. I am so old school!! :)
DeleteTif, I'm finding I can only seem to do one, read or write. When I am doing well on catching up with reading, I fall short at writing. Guess there's just so many hours in a day. ;)
Delete365andMe ... This is true! I am discovering this myself, though it has taken me a while to figure it out!! :)
DeleteDidn't finish "Hidden" by Kendra Elliot. Right off the bat, I was turned off by the main character. Her internal voice, actually her external too didn't match her profession. So I'm moving on to the next book.
ReplyDeleteThe Amateur Novelist ... That is so sad that the book didn't work out, but no need to dwell. Just move on!!
