Sunday Synopsis: June 19, 2011
I finished Delirium by Lauren Oliver this last week and in short, I loved it! Be sure to be watching for the review at the end of the month and visit the Tales to Tomes Goodreads Group for more chit-chat!
I started reading Blankets by Craig Thompson. So far, I'm really liking this story. I'm not very far yet, but I plan to finish it before Tuesday when it is due back at the library.
I cleaned out my shelf of books that need to be reviewed. As you all have noticed, I have not been good at posting reviews these days. I think a part of it is because of the overwhelming pile. I cleaned it out and now it looks much more manageable! And, I've already been working on a number of reviews!!
Last, but not least, I think I forgot to mention that I signed up my kids and myself for the library summer reading program a few weeks ago. We love these programs so much, that we in fact, are signed up at two different libraries!!
Okay, that's it for me this week! How has your week been? Have you signed up for summer reading programs with your kids? What books are on your reading agenda this week?

Good idea. I cleared some books off my TBR shelf a few weeks back, books which I'm unlikely to ever be in the mood to read - and it's looking much more manageable, too.
I've been trying to stay on top of my reviews too - formatting and scheduling them, then writing them in drips and drabs at work in some down moments. When I have them already formatted and ready to go, it is a lot easier to stay on top of them. By doing so, I've also given myself a cushion of two weeks and growing, where I have my review scheduled and written. I still have four reviews to write, but it is less intimidating knowing I have that cushion. Good luck getting ahead of yours!ReplyDelete
Tracy ... Sleeping is what I've been doing much more lately! I think I've needed it! Speaking of clearing shelves, my next project is the TBR. That one needs it more than my review pile!ReplyDelete
Michelle ... I am working to catch up and work ahead too! I try to spend at least a bit of time every night and I'm finally feeling like I'm getting back in the groove of things! It doesn't hurt that I've been decreasing other extras, too!
