They were not at the library when I stopped by the other day, so I will have to try another!

Alexia561 . . . Thanks for the congrats! I'm loving my job so far, but the commute can be brutal, especially when it gets backed up! Thank heavens for the audio books because I have yet to find a radio station that I like! You'd think that being in a city that wouldn't be an issue!! I follow J. Kaye, but plan to revisit now that the audio is going to be more prevalent to me now!! Thanks for the suggestion!!Tif Sweeneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06015299390676538748noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7450516531437589191.post-56689401998302140192009-07-22T21:41:45.456-06:002009-07-22T21:41:45.456-06:00Congratulations on starting your new job! Can't help you with audio book suggestions, as I usually listen to the news or CDs during my 30 minute commute, but I think J.Kaye listens to a lot of books on tape, so you may want to check out her recommendations. Hope you settle into a new routine soon. Enjoy!Alexia561https://www.blogger.com/profile/10797515620050469395noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7450516531437589191.post-63636985723745857552009-07-21T02:31:30.142-06:002009-07-21T02:31:30.142-06:00Good luck with the routine and the job! I'm li...Good luck with the routine and the job! I'm listening to A Thousand Splendid Suns, and I find myself sitting in the car to keep listening. Let's not even talk about the crying. I also listened to Shantaram, which is this LONG book that I tried out and actually liked listening to. If you want something light, I've enjoyed listening to Sophie Kinsella's stand alone books like, Undomestic Goddess.

Well, I've given you a few suggestions. Good luck!Beckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13615570638950821876noreply@blogger.com
