Bout of Books 14


It is time for yet another readathon, Bout of Books 14, and I am joining in for the reading fun.  This one is great timing because I am just getting back from a little vacation and also falls right before school starts for the year.  Here's a bit more information from the website about the event . . .
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 17th and runs through Sunday, August 23rd in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. What are my plans throughout the week?  In short, read as much as possible!  It is a bit early for me to tell you specific books, but I can tell you that I will be choosing from my current August TBR pile pictured below.


I will be playing my audio selections by ear because I am not sure which books will be available at the time that this starts.  I will keep you posted on which books I choose, both audio and print, via Twitter and Instagram throughout the week.  I will also post a wrap-up during my usual weekly ramblings after the event ends.

    We are reading Girl on the Train for book club next month. So excited.

      Suey ... Really?!? I have finished it. I liked it, but didn't think that it lived up to all the hype that currently surrounds it. I will be curious to hear what you think.
