Speaking of March, let's take a look at the usual favorites from the month . . .
The TOP POST from the month was two-fold, but with a theme. Spring 2015 Bloggiesta Challenge: Blast From the Past received the most hits last month, but my personal Spring 2015 Bloggiesta complete with my to-do list had the most comments.
The TOP PIC from March was this picture that I posted with this comment, "When life gets a little too overwhelming, I head to a comfort zone." My comfort zone also frequently results in retail therapy. I came home with three new books that day!
This month, I am going to try to share more pictures for the #estellagram pick your own theme. My theme? I decided to go with #MontanaTreasures to highlight a few beauties from being back in my home state.
The BOOKS READ last month was more than I expected, and much better than last month.
- Wishful Thinking by Kamy Wicoff
- American Born Chinese by Gene Luen Yang
- Boxers by Gene Luen Yang
- Saints by Gene Luen Yang
- Songs of Willow Frost by Jamie Ford
- Fun Home by Alison Bechdel
- Bossypants by Tina Fey
- Pet Sematary by Stephen King
- The Peach Keeper by Sarah Addison Allen
- On Writing by Stephen King
Ten books!! And, many of them were very good books, so it is hard to pick just one that stands out. If I absolutely had to, I think I would probably choose On Writing as my FAVORITE READ of the month, but American Born Chinese is not far behind it.
Last, but not least, the end of March saw me starting a NEW ADVENTURE as well! I decided to return to work part-time by helping out at my kids' school. I haven't worked with the younger crowd in quite a while besides some volunteering here and there, and I forgot how much fun they really are. I am exhausted by the time I get home, but it helps to have some structure back to my day. I'm having to re-work my schedule again. We will see how this new schedule treats me this month!
Well, that's about enough for this week! Now, it's your turn . . .
What were some of your favorites in March, from reading in the books or online? Do you have any adventures to report on?
Congrats on reading ten books in March! That's awesome! And congrats on the new part-time job. The kids are going to love you! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteAlexia561 ... Thank you! I guess you could say that March was a whirlwind of adventure both in the pages and out! ;)
DeleteA book store or library are two of my greatest comfort zones, too, Tif! Just looking at this picture gives me the warm fuzzies lol
