Sit Down & Write 3

As I mentioned earlier this week, I am participating in Sit Down & Write 3 hosted by Michelle of Stories Inside.  This little writing challenge is for any kind of writing:  reviews, blogging, fun, fiction, etc.  It runs from Wednesday, May 1 to Wednesday, May 15.

I have a long list of things to write:  freelance pieces, reviews, blog features, and I really need to quit procrastinating on my "other" writing.  Over these next two weeks, I will be working on getting as much done as I possibly can.  I am already getting a late start, so I really need to get the most out of the remaining time.  Here is a list of things that I will be working on, in very general terms, though I give you a sneak peek with a quick photo of my real list . . .

2 Freelance Articles
15 Reviews
New Feature Write-Up
Journal
Fun, Fun, Fun!!

I will try to post a check-in post about half-way through the challenge, sharing how much I am accomplishing (or not).  Until then, I write!

Will you be joining in on the writing fun?  What will you be working on?

  1. Sounds like you have some good writing plans. I'm also starting late so don't feel bad. I finally got my first client at my job this week which is good, but I've been so busy learning what I'll be doing for her, I can't think straight!

Thanks for joining me for the write-a-thon!

  2. Yep! I signed up too, but my goals look more like a Bloggiesta to-do list than goals for a Write-a-thon. Oh well, the list is important to me. ;) Best of luck!

    1. Amateur Novelist ... I read your list yesterday, but noticed that you removed your commenting option. I think it looks like a great list. I may try to do a few of those kinds of things done too. We'll see. So far, I'm not marking a lot of things off my list!!

    2. Tif, I have a feeling removing the comment section will prove to be one of the smartest things I've done. Of course, I could be dead wrong. If so, it won't be the first time. ;)

As far as your list, you have a house up for sale. Just gonna say, that is a major time suck or it was for us. In your shoes, I'd pat myself on the back for any accomplishments. (lol) Plus, you have a daytime job. Once you get from under both of those, you'll get more writing done. I'm sure of it!

  3. I'm not participating, but do go all out and write a novel during National Novel Writing Month which takes place each November (NaNoWriMo. By the way, I gave you a shout out today.
