Thankfully Reading Weekend Kick-Off

This morning kicks off the Thankfully Reading Weekend 2012!  I originally was not planning on setting aside a stack of books, but have since changed my mind and came up with a couple of piles of possibilities.  Check them out . . .

Of course, I do need to finish my current read as well of . . .

We will be sticking our turkey in the oven in a little over an hour for a later dinner.  This means I have lots of reading time before my tasks of prepping food begin.  Until then, we will be watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, relaxing, and READING, of course!  In fact, I'm off to read now!  I will be back later to post more updates and in the meantime, you can follow me @tiftalksbooks on Twitter for real-time updates.

What are you reading this weekend?  What foods will you be enjoying today, whether you celebrate Thanksgiving or not?

I need to pick up a copy of Gilead. I've heard great things about it.

    1. Sherry ... Thanks for stopping by! I just finished Gilead last night. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I only recently lost my dad, so I think that may have been overshadowing some of my thoughts on the novel.

  5. We had home-made pizza. Yes, that's right. But then, I'm in the Netherlands so no Thanksgiving for me. :-)

Hope you had a good time. And now: more reading!
