Monday Maunder: November 12, 2012


ON READING

Instead of chatting about my reading today, I'm just going to refer you to last week's maunders!  I would pretty much say the same thing anyways!!

ON WRITING


Now, I have more to report here this week because it is the start of Sit Down and Write 2!!!  I have been trying to catch up as much as possible, so I can do some fun writing over these two weeks.  I didn't get as much completed as I was hoping, but I did make a dent.  The rest I am just piling onto the rest of my list of goals.  Speaking of goals, here is a list of what I'm thinking . . .

  • Blog Writing:  I have approximately 20 possible posts to write, from book reviews to discussion posts, all of which I can write and schedule.  I may combine a few of these, but I will start with that number and see where it goes from here.  I also have 3 reviews already written that I need to type up and schedule.
  • Journaling:  I am really wanting to journal on a more regular basis, both for cathartic and strength-in-writing purposes.  I will be shooting for 4 times per week.
  • Fun, Fun, Fun:  Finally, I am really excited to finally start getting some of my ideas into story form!!  I don't have big goals here.  If I could just get started, that will be one BIG step for me!
I've set some pretty high standards here, but I really wanted to get all my goals down on paper.  Who knows if I will be able to do it all, but I look forward to giving it a try!


ON LIFE

My husband and I finished watching Season 2 of The Walking Dead over the weekend!  That is seriously my most exciting news!!  I cannot wait to see Season 3, but I may have to wait until it comes out on DVD.

Tell me:  What is on your reading and writing agenda these days?  Any other Walking Dead fans (that are willing to not spoil Season 3)?!?

    Tif, invest in some tissue for season three. That's all I'm going to say there. Freaking love that show!

      Amateur Novelist ... I've been hearing rumors about this, but try so hard not to spoil it for myself! Though I've read a number of the books, so I have an idea of what may come! BTW, do you catch these online? We are looking for options to see this before the season 3 DVD is released!
