High Summer Read-a-thon, Update #2


Just dropping in for another quick update on the High Summer Read-a-thon that I am participating in. This will be the final devoted post to this event as my final stats will appear in my Monday Maunder post in a couple of days.

Current Read:  Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney

Books Completed:
  • Enrique's Journey by Sonia Nazario 
  • Between the Lines by Jodi Picoult and Samantha Van Leer 
Pages Read: 
  • Enrique's Journey: 199 pages (started prior to event) 
  • Between the Lines: 215 pages (started prior to event) 
  • Diary of a Wimpy Kid: 140 pages
  • Total Pages: 554 pages

  1. Just finished the 3rd book in High Summer Read-a-Thon. I have 2 others in progress: The Hunger Games and Keturah and Lord Death. I should finish Hunger Games, but since Keturah is an audio book, it will probably be two weeks before I have enough alone time in the car to finish listening to it.

    1. Elsi ... Great job!! I loved The Hunger Games, so I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!! I got out of listening to audios, but am hoping to get back to it since I'm finally back to working out! Good luck with the final hours!!

  3. You did well! I didn't do as much as the other participants, but I'm not unhappy. :) I'm learning to be happy with small steps. (lol)

    1. 365andMe ... I am constantly reminding myself about the baby steps!! LOL!! I am posting my final numbers later this evening. Thanks to some easy reads, I am feeling good about my end results too. Just wanted I needed these days!
