ON READING

Reading was light this week.  I honestly have no idea why!  I'm still trying to figure out where the time went!  I did finish Locke & Key #3:  Crown of Shadows by Joe Hill and decided to go for Emerald Atlas by John Stephens.  I am not far into the book yet, but I'm sure hoping to really sit down and read a few nights this week.  This one definitely has some potential for getting lost in!

ON WRITING

I did get very little writing done this past week, but I guess it is better than nothing.  I am hoping for some actual numbers to share with you next week, but don't hold your breath!

ON LIFE

This is probably going to be the most exciting part of the entire post this week!  Here's the low-down on what has happened this last week . . .

Bloggiesta:  I did participate in Bloggiesta a small amount this year as evidenced by my post from Friday.  I had a list of things to get done, but I did not get much crossed off the list.  I do have a long weekend coming up this weekend, so I'm hoping to play a bit of catch-up and complete this list before I maunder next week!

The Hunger Games:  I splurged and went to the movie with a friend this last weekend!  I can't decide if I will write a full movie review or not, but in a few short words . . . I loved it!

Mo Willems:  Earlier this evening, my family hit the city nightlife, off to the fabulous Mo Willems.  I will definitely be writing about this one via the Walrus Report and I cannot wait to share.  This one was sooooo much fun, but what else can we expect from one of the best children's authors out there?!?

What's the latest news in your life?!?  Were you more successful in Bloggiesta than I was?

  1. YES! A little is better than nothing. My goal has been to get at least one thing done a day, no matter how small. In fact, small is better. That way, I know I'll get something done. :)

    1. My list always tends to be a little too long and out-of-reach. Maybe I need to start smaller!

    2. I've done that smaller thing, but found out the my list was still TOO long. The term "limits" isn't one I've understood in the past, but getting there. :)

  2. I found that it takes awhile to link up all reviews, so looks like you had a productive Bloggiesta! I need to catch up on my reading, as I spent so much time tweaking my blog that I didn't pick up a single book! :o
