Here's the stack of books I gathered at the book fair! Sadly, I got home and realized I already had one of these books. Guess I will need to see what I can do with the extra!
And then, we have the special books I received after using some giftcards.
Lastly, the book that I won from a giveaway hosted on Carol's Notebook. I told myself that I would not enter anymore giveaways until I read at least a few books off of my shelves, but I had a hard time passing up entering this one!
What books have you been excited to receive lately?
I feel your pain. I can't seem to stop buying books and entering giveaways. My bookshelves are sagging and crying for me to stop! I'm addicted and I love it!
ReplyDeleteWahoo for The Book Thief!
ReplyDeleteAh, that's quite a pile!
ReplyDeleteI'm feeling virtuous because I haven't bought any reading books so far this year, I did buy one book a few days ago, but technically I don't think it counts, and I'll post on it in two weeks or so.
I love the Outlander series, I've actually reread a few of them! Looks like a lot of good reads. It is good to have choices when you are looking for your next book.
ReplyDeleteLaura's Reviews . . . I've been trying to control myself this year! It is just sooooo hard!
ReplyDeleteSuey . . . Now I need to find the time to read it!
Tracy . . . I wish I had the will power that you have! I need to control this addiction!!
Jill . . . And, I do have a lot of choices! Someday, I need to actually take a picture of my TBR piles and post them here!
I can't wait to read your thoughts on The Book Thief! Many of your other choices look intriguing. The addiction is strong-but better books than drugs-or so I tell my husband!
ReplyDeletePeaceful Reader . . . LOL! That is so true!! I need to start using that one on my hubby!
ReplyDeleteLooks like some good ones. Enjoy!
ReplyDeletecarolsnotebook . . . You would know! BTW, totally meant to give you a little link love! All fixed!! :)
ReplyDeleteWho among us hasn't accidentally brought home duplicate copies? I tried to keep a list of all the books I already own, but it grew too fast!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Peaceful Reader on this one...I keep telling my DH that he's lucky I'm not addicted to shoes or jewelry! *L*
Alexia561 . . . I am so glad to hear that I am far from being the only one that buys duplicates of books! My only addictions are books and bags to carry them in! Nothing like diamonds and heels! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is so great! I wish I could collect and read books at the rate you do. :)
ReplyDeleteCayla . . . Lately, I've been doing much more collecting than reading!! But, I will be prepared!! :)
