I've got some more posts already scheduled for this next week and I am so excited about that! I'm discovering that planning out my anticipated posts using a calendar completely devoted to this site is very helpful. Breaking it down makes it seem much more realistic and achievable and I intend to continue using it! I am determined to get caught up on my reviews and am planning on using Bloggiesta weekend to do that, among other housekeeping issues!
I've got a big birthday party on tap for this week as my boy is turning 6! I am going to get as much writing done as possible this weekend and then work on figuring out what kind of treats to serve for a monkey-themed party. I have thrown a similar party in the past and went with banana splits. I may fall back on this one, but I am going to see what sort of other creative ideas may come up too! If it all works out, I will share a picture with you next week in the Synopsis post!
And, speaking of food, I will share another recipe from Julia Child's Cookbook that my hubby made. This one was SUPER yummy and can't wait to try it again in the near future!
Last, but not least, I have started reading The Count of Monte Cristo (the unabridged version) for my February book club, and hoping to be able to finish within a few weeks. That one is a definite chunkster!
Hope you all have a wonderful week! What's on your reading agenda?
The Count of Monte Cristo is one of my favorites. I think it took me a little over a month to read.
ReplyDeletecarolsnotebook . . . Looks like I better get reading! I have so far to go still! :)
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, this was posted twice! I'm deleting the other post to avoid the duplication, but wanted to post the other comments here . . .

Happy Birthday to your son.
And good luck with The Count of Monte Cristo - I'm reading Wolf Hall at the moment, which I'm really savouring, it's the best historical fiction novel I've read (so far), but it's 650 pages long, so it's going to take me a while to finish.
