Literary Locals: April 2009

Literary Locals, a monthly event, highlighting our local authors, both past and present!!

For this month, I actually have more than one book, but only one review done! So, I will highlight the one book and save the others for next month (and hopefully, will be all caught up on my reviews by then)!! As for my local author this month, I wanted to highlight a Missouri author that I have recently reviewed and hosted a giveaway for the book . . . Jantsen's Gift by Pam Cope and Aimee Molloy. This is Pam's first book, in which she shares her own personal tragedies and struggles and how she survived and thrived through them. Her story and life choices are truly inspiring! As someone who has been debating the beginnings of her own non-profit organization, I found Cope's motivation and impact on others a good kick in the pants to begin the ball rolling for my own personal goals!! If you have not yet checked out her book or her work, I highly recommend you do so!

Support your local authors and post a review through the comment section (either via a link or directly embedded). As reviews are posted, I will update this post to reflect your local author highlights as well!

And The Winner Is . . .
