Remember When by Nora Roberts & J.D. Robb

My friend Kathy recommended that I read this book. She is a fan of Nora Roberts and J.D. Robb (in and of herself the same author!) and thought that I should check her out! So, I did!

This book is actually two stories in one. The first one, written by Nora Roberts, is a story about a diamond heist gone bad. The team that actually got away with the diamonds has a turncoat in the bunch. The main character, Laine Tavish, a woman who owns an antique store in smalltown America, is thrown into the diamond drama by her long lost father and uncle. Along the way, she falls in love, reunites with her father, and attempts to recover the stolen goods.

In the second half, a related story emerges by Roberts' alter ego Robb, featuring Laine's granddaughter and set far in the future, year 2059. More drama, suspense, and family secrets make the whole book hard to put down! Though I had the mystery pretty well worked out, it was a fun read nonetheless. In fact, I would add this book to my "Brain Candy" list -- a sweet and easy read; one that definitely meets my cravings for a good book! I will definitely be reading more of Roberts and Robb in the future!

  1. I've always loved Nora Roberts. Are saying that J.D. Robb is AKA Nora? I didn't know that. I'll have to check this book out.
